Justice – #WeAreAzureHills

Ketita Boren

Scripture Meditation:

He has told you, O man, what is good;
and what does the Lord require of you
but to do justice, and to love kindness,[a]
and to walk humbly with your God?

–       Micah 6:8

Prayer:

Dear God,
Open our hearts to your call. Help us live out your peace and extend it to all. Help us recognize those who are suffering and guide us to help them in their time of need. Thank you for being the ultimate example of justice embedded in love, mercy, and peace.
In Jesus’ name, Amen.

Reflection Questions:

  1. Consider this:  am I extending peace and mercy to those who are hurting today?
  2. Am I withholding God’s love due to fear, anger, or indifference to someone’s despair?
  3. What can I do to start living God’s love today?

Action:

Choose an act that you can offer to a specific person or group of people that reflects God’s love.

Photo Challenge:

Post a picture illustrating God’s love being extended in our world today. Post your picture with #justice  #azurehills.
