Play – #WeAreAzureHills

Pastor Nick Snell

Scripture Meditation:

The city streets will be filled with boys and girls playing there. – Zechariah 8:5

Father in Heaven, Thank You for creating us to play. It brings such joy to our lives. Right now things are different and we miss being able to play like we used to. Help us to live with hope that things will not be as they are now forever. We pray that you will restore to us the ability to play in safety under your care. Reunite us at Azure Hills. Defeat COVID-19 and all disease. Help us to be able to find ways to play in freedom as You created us to even now. Give us creativity to connect and laugh for health and joy in You. Thank you for being a good, good Father to us your children. Amen

Reflection Question:

Take a moment to remember the last time you had a good play session with people you love. Enjoy that memory. Can you see God smiling over that moment with you?

This week, spend time playing under God’s smile every day. Plan moments to connect and laugh with God and others to remember what it is to be a protected and free child of God.

Photo Challenge:

Post your picture with #play #azurehills for today and let us catch a glimpse of God’s presence in your everyday life.
